Optional Finishes

Unlike steel, cast iron is inherently resistant to continued corrosion. Standard unfinished ductile/gray iron will, over time, develop an attractive patina which will not damage the iron and requires no upkeep.

Products can also be provided prime-coated, electrostatically powder coated in any specific color, or galvanized. Other finishes can also be applied if needed to suit a particular demand.

Olympic Foundry's Ductile castings are available in a variety of standard powder coated colors. The color coating is either polyester or polyester TGIC powder finish, applied by dry electrostatic process. Following application, the metal parts are baked until properly cured.
