FairWeather Product Warranty
Except for its 5 year non-prorated warranty against defects in materials and workmanship FairWeather offers no other stated warranties. Certain third-party purchased parts are generally covered under a separate manufacturer's warranty.
If the finish is subject to a salty or corrosive environment of any nature (i.e.: roads, sidewalks or other areas that are salted or where other snow melting agents (corrosive material) is used for snow or ice removal; ocean shore areas where installations are near or around saltwater environments; and other environments where extreme humid conditions persist that may cause corrosive conditions), the product must have a corrosion resistant undercoat.
Claims are subject to inspection by FairWeather Site Furnishings or its authorized representatives. Repair or replacement will be determined solely by FairWeather Site Furnishings after its or any of its authorized representatives inspection of the warranted products. FairWeather is not responsible for loss or damage in transit. The consignee must file a claim against the carrier for loss or damaged products.
Olympic Foundry products will be warranted for a period of one year after receipt of order. This warranty shall cover replacement of any product due to manufacturer's defect. Such defects include and are limited to cracks, casting flaws, and undue porosity resulting in casting failure or breakage. This warranty is only applicable to casting if failure occurs under normal and intended usage. If casting is modified in any way this warranty is null and void without written authorization from Olympic Foundry or Fairweather Site Furnishings, its exclusive distributor of decorative castings. Olympic Foundry and FairWeather Site Furnishings are not responsible for improper installation. Due to variable conditions, paint and powder coated finishes are not covered under this warranty.
